I am the Manager of Humane Advocacy at East Bay SPCA in Oakland, California.

In my role, I am a veterinary social worker assisting both humans and pets in preserving the human-animal bond, keeping families together, and ensuring access to resources.

It is the mission of our organization to help prevent cruelty to animals and save lives. We believe that most cruelty and neglect is unintentional, due largely to lack of resources and/or animal care education. Intervention at an early stage can greatly improve the lives of animals, and their owners.
