The SOPs and Evaluation working group exists to identifying best practices for co-sheltering people experiencing homelessness with their companion animals at the same facility.

 

To this end, the SOP and Evaluation working group:

• Documents existing processes in co-sheltering environments.

• Identifies and evaluates program outcomes in co-sheltering environments.

• Develops and evaluates veterinary standard operating procedures for co-sheltering environments.
